My Angel

And while her brother is making all kinds of trouble, Sassy sits nicely and plays with toys for hours on end. She's been my easiest baby. Monkey gets all the attention (at least on the blog) because his noisy, agressive, adventurous boy behavior is new to the family, but Sassy-girl keeps us smiling. She recently learned to sit up, and is using consonants when she babbles. In fact, she likes to chew me out once in a while. "Dabble-dabble-dabble-gubba-gubba-gubba!"

Update on Jamie: she's still in the hospital and will be for the duration, but is still pregnant at 32 weeks. Each day in saves two in the NICU!

My Daredevil

Monkey started crawling last week. The first thing he did was this:

He's been obsessed with the fireplace ever since. This morning I found him like this:

Prayer Request

Please take a moment if you can and say a prayer for Jamie D. She's a member of my PE support group. She lost her first child to PE about a year ago, and she's being admitted today with PE again at 31 weeks. Please pray that she'll hang on a little longer if possible, and if not that mother and baby will have a safe and easy delivery and a short stay in the NICU.

Sold!

We accepted an offer on our house last night. Praise the Lord! Now we're waiting to hear if our own offer has been accepted on the house we want.

Always the bridesmaid...

Our realtor told us we have a "bridesmaid house." We've been the second choice of a lot of people (we've had 30+ people through), but not the winner. We lowered the price this week, so hopefully we'll get a bite soon.

Boy Behavior?

Monkey is such a boy! He's turning into an escape artist. This morning, I put him in the bouncy seat. He managed to get out of the buckle, roll over, get up on his hands and knees, and bounce himself silly! He can also escape from the Bumbo. So no more bouncy-seat or Bumbo for him. He's working hard on getting out of the swing (!), but the buckles are a little tighter there. So far no luck, thank God. I don't know what I'd do if he couldn't go to sleep in the swing.

Did anyone catch the episode of 19 Kids and Counting last night? We don't get TLC, but I would really like to see it if anyone has it DVRed and can copy it for me. Michelle had PE, the same syndrome I had in all my pregnancies. I saw a few clips online and had major PTSD flashbacks!
